What made the experience of listening to A Bone to Pick the most enjoyable? The quality of the narrating is very good and allows the listener to relax and enjoy the story. What other book might you compare A Bone to Pick to, and why? I enjoy a wide variety of 'cozy' murder mysteries and I would put the Aurora Teagarden series in this group. A BONE TO PICK is a first rate novella. It is not that Melinda Leigh is a more talented author than Kendra Elliot (she is not; they are equally talented). The Widow's Island novella series has potential to be as successful as the other novella series Elliot and Leigh have coauthored.
